🇬🇧 Terms & Conditions

Wedding Photographer Thinna Aniella’s Terms & Conditions

Being a full-time wedding photographer requires planning. Most weddings take place on Saturdays – that’s 52 Saturdays a year. Since 2013, I’ve photographed between 30–35 weddings annually. So yes, I carry quite a bit of experience in my bag.

I’ve specialized in wedding portraiture since 2014.

Since your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime moment, it’s essential that every agreement made is one that’s upheld. It’s always a good idea to write a contract with everyone involved in your big day – including your photographer. Or at the very least, make sure to get the agreement confirmed by email.

I take my work very seriously. That’s why once we’ve made an agreement, I’ll send you a digital contract to confirm the details. That way, you have something to rely on – and so do I.

Please book your date as early as possible – especially if your wedding takes place in May or August. These months are in high demand, and many couples book more than a year in advance.

Wedding Package Terms & Conditions

Once you’ve made your decision, write or call me.
Book here.

Here’s what will happen next:

Once your date is booked, I’ll send you a confirmation email.
After that, my accountant will send you an invoice/booking confirmation (see details below for what the invoice includes).
Once the invoice is paid, the date is yours.

The invoice/confirmation will state the following:

Payment:

  1. The first installment is due upon booking and corresponds to 50% of the package price.

  2. The second installment must be paid no later than 30 days before the booked wedding date.

Confirmation of reservation for the date xxxxx requires a prepayment of 50% of the package price, corresponding to xxx,- to be paid no later than xxxx. Once the amount has been received, the date is yours. The remaining balance must be paid no later than xxxx (30 days before the wedding date).
I will confirm the booking once I have received the prepayment.

Right of Cancellation / Refund Policy

You have the option to cancel or reschedule your booking under the following conditions:

  • You may cancel within 8 days after your first payment. In this case, the amount paid will be refunded minus 25%.

  • After the 8th day from booking and payment, the prepayment is non-refundable.

  • A cancellation is considered valid from the date Photographer Thinna Aniella receives the cancellation by email.

  • If you cancel after the 8th day but more than 30 days before the booked wedding date, the second installment (remaining 50% of the package price) will not be charged.

  • 30 days before the wedding date, the second installment is due. If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the wedding, neither the first nor the second installment will be refunded.

Force Majeure:

Photographer Thinna Aniella reserves the right to cancel or interrupt a session due to force majeure – such as war, riots, strikes, lockouts, fuel rationing, border closures, epidemics, natural disasters, pollution events, or similar unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, the photographer will inform the client as soon as possible. No compensation or refund of payments will be given in the event of force majeure.

In Case of Death in the Family:

If you cancel due to a death in the immediate family and can provide a death certificate, 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.
If the full amount was paid upfront, the second installment (equal to 50% of the package price) will be refunded in the event of cancellation or death – unless the cancellation occurs within 30 days of the wedding date. In that case, no refund will be issued.

Rescheduling:

If you need to change the wedding date, I’m happy to move the booking – provided I’m available on the new date, and the change is made within 2 years. Otherwise, the prepayment will be forfeited.
It’s a good idea to contact me in advance to check my availability.
The date can only be changed once.
If cancellation or rescheduling happens within 30 days of the original wedding date, I will gladly transfer the entire payment to a new date (again, only if I’m available).
If I’m not available, the entire payment will be forfeited.

Other Terms:

  • It is not the photographer’s responsibility to ensure that guests or people to be photographed are present. This is the responsibility of the couple or the toastmaster.

  • In case of bad weather, it is not the photographer’s responsibility to find a new location unless this has been prearranged.

  • Delays caused by church ceremonies, late arrival of the bride or groom, reception venue issues, or hotel delays may result in extra charges if the delay exceeds 1 hour.

  • If the delay exceeds 1 hour and I have another wedding scheduled, I reserve the right to cancel the agreement without refund.

  • If the couple fails to appear for a location shoot, it may be rescheduled for another day with an additional fee.

If I, the photographer, cancel for any reason, the full amount paid will be refunded.
I am not obligated to find a replacement photographer, but I am happy to help if possible.

Useful Information

After Payment – What Happens Next

Once your prepayment (first installment) has been received, you will receive a confirmation of payment.
Shortly after, I will send you an email asking for your full names and contact information.

In the confirmation, you will also find a proposed date for a phone meeting – usually about one month before the wedding – where we go through the details of your day. By then, most of your plans are hopefully in place.

Your photos will be stored on an external hard drive and in the cloud for up to 6 months.

All images are delivered digitally through a password-protected online gallery.
You will be able to download your photos directly from the gallery.
The final, edited images will remain available in the gallery for 1 month.
It is recommended that you download them within that timeframe.

If you haven’t downloaded the images within that month and would like the gallery re-uploaded later, that’s possible for a small fee of 500 DKK.

Once I have delivered your digital gallery, the delivery is considered complete.

What Can You Expect?

After my workday with you is complete, the following will happen:
